“Gramma’s Buttons”
The theme of the competition was to tell a story of someone who grew up around second world war, using buttons. Gathered 7 antique buttons purchased at local antique store. Center button is a British uniform button, mounted on a uniform bar made from mat board. This 8- sided frame features dark and light fabric reminiscent of the era. “Lace” corners were cut from matboard to complete the design.
